Concrete Patios in Metro Atlanta

A concrete patio gives you a flat, low-maintenance outdoor floor for dining, grilling or a fire pit, and it holds up to sun, rain and foot traffic for years with little upkeep. JMJ Construction Group designs and builds concrete patios across metro Atlanta, from a small slab outside the back door to a large stamped patio that wraps the back of the house.

We size the patio around the furniture and activities you have in mind, slope it so water runs away from your foundation, and match the finish to your home. Patios often pair with other outdoor projects, like a deck or screened porch above them, or new walkways and steps from our concrete work.

What Sets the Cost of a Concrete Patio

Patio pricing comes down to a handful of choices. Here's what moves the number on your estimate.

    • The square footage, which sets the concrete, base and labor
    • Whether an old patio, pavers or turf has to come out first
    • Yard slope, since a sloped lot may need fill, steps or a small retaining edge
    • Access for equipment and concrete trucks to the backyard
    • The finish, with stamped and colored concrete costing more than a broom finish

      Concrete Patio Questions, Answered

How much does a concrete patio cost?

The size, the finish, how much site prep the yard needs and whether an old patio has to come out all affect the price. A plain broom-finished slab and a large stamped, colored patio land in very different places. We measure the space and give you a free, itemized estimate.

Is stamped concrete worth it for a patio?

If you want the look of stone or brick in one continuous surface, stamped concrete is a popular choice. It costs more than a plain finish and should be resealed every few years to keep its color. A broom finish costs less and needs less upkeep. We'll show you both so you can decide.

Should I build a patio or a deck?

A patio works best when the back door is close to ground level and the yard is fairly flat. A deck makes more sense when the door sits high off the ground or the yard drops away from the house. Some homes get both, with a patio under the deck. We build both, so we'll recommend what fits your yard.

How soon can we use a new patio?

Foot traffic is usually fine after a day or two. Wait about a week before setting heavy furniture, a grill or planters on it. Sealing on stamped concrete happens after it has cured. We'll give you timing based on the weather when it's poured.

      Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. JMJ Construction Group holds Georgia GC license GCI000260 and carries liability coverage through Next Insurance, with proof available before work begins.
